Mint tokens with your Farcaster $DEGEN tip allowance. Instead of tipping, spend tips on Mint Club bonding-curve tokens on Degen Chain (L3).

The collab

A collab where Hunt Town / Mint Club led development and operations, with support from the Degen team (whose DEGEN Tip allowance was the spend rail). The minted tokens are Mint Club bonding-curve tokens on Degen Chain.

What worked

Became a runaway hit: at its peak, over one-third of all daily $DEGEN tips were being spent on minting Mint Club Degen-L3 tokens (see traction chart).

What broke

The Degen team shut it down. DEGEN-tip usage had skewed so heavily toward MCDegen that they judged it no longer fit DEGEN Tip's intended purpose (rewarding content).

What it seeded

Showed Mint Club tokens could plug into an existing external social-tipping rail ($DEGEN) as a mint/spend destination on another chain, so effectively it dominated that rail.
