Hamcaster

A SocialFi app to tokenize your Farcaster profile ("Caster Tokens") and share daily $HAM rewards.

The collab

Built and led by founder deployer (now the founder of BankrCoin) on the Mint Club protocol. Hunt Town / Mint Club's role was protocol support; deployer built the SocialFi / staking / locking / voting layer and the Ham + Farcaster integration.

What worked

Shipped a full third-party SocialFi token economy with in-app DeFi primitives (stake for rewards, lock for votes, tip in-feed) on its own chain. (Exact traction numbers are unrecoverable. See below.)

What broke

Two things ended it: Ham Chain (the L2 it ran on) shut down operations, and founder deployer refocused on his next project, BankrCoin, winding Hamcaster down. Because the chain itself is gone, precise traction figures can't be retrieved.

What it seeded

Proved Mint Club's contracts could power a full third-party SocialFi token economy on a different chain entirely, not just on our own surface.
